NPCIe-XMC
PCI Express (PCIe) XMC Carrier
The NPCIe-XMC is a half-length PCI Express (PCIe) add-in card designed as a carrier for a switched mezzanine card (XMC, ANSI/VITA 42.0-2016), to enable you to add functionality to a system with standard PCIe extension slots. It is a non-intelligent adapter board that interfaces an XMC mezzanine module to a PCI Express bus, to route signals between your system’s PCIe bus and the XMC module. This PCIe/XMC carrier card allows a PCIe bus master to control and communicate with the hosted XMC module.
The NPCIe-XMC is capable of carrying conduction cooled XMC modules as defined per ANSI/VITA 20-2001. It is also possible to mount an optional 12V fan.
An example XMC that can be used with the NPCIe-XMC is the N.A.T. NXMC-4E1 line interface XMC, which is ideal for conversion between PSTN and VOIP networks.
